Technical characteristics

Agronomic characteristics:

strong heading, long lasting, can reach 120 cm in height. Takes advantage of moisture and fertile soil. Adaptable to different types of soils: preferring well-drained, sand or loam to clay or gravel.

Sowing:

spring with 20-25 kg/hectare

Production:

up to 3 cuttings. The first is done in fully flowering and is very profuse also thanks to strong heading, the second and the third are less abundant. Forage quality, for hay and pasturing, is good and can vary from 15 to 20 tons/ha.

Tolerance:

high drought and heat tolerance, moderate frost tolerance, adaptable to all pedoclimatic environments.
